As long as I can remember I've had a camera in hand. As a child at Christmas, instead of Atari video games (showing my age), I was asking for a point-and-shooot camera. My first job at 15 was not to save up for a car, but instead to purchase my first SLR, a Canon T70. I was lucky enough in school to obtain a strong foundation in film photography, spending many hours in a darkroom developing and printing negatives. Though not a full-time focus over the years, my love for the art form has never wavered.
With an extensive background and education in marketing, advertising, and brand strategy, coupled with our enduring passion for the world of dogs, photography is a natural bridge between our professional and personal worlds. Many years as a breeder, owner, and handler of outstanding dogs of various breeds has allowed us to maximize the individual attributes (type, movement, structure, beauty) that each dog brings to the image through the lens.
After many years with an arsenal of Canon bodies and lenses (which we still have), we have recently migrated to the Sony A7 III and Sony/Zeiss glass and could not be happier with the results.
Please feel free to browse our Galleries for a sample of some of our favorite images.
The "Events & Shoots" site coming soon will be where visitors can view and purchase images from private photo shoots and various canine events we attend throughout the year.
As we devote more time to photography, we will also be adding a "Projects" site to document the progress of personal photographic projects.
Thank you for visiting!
